Kevin’s ‘Why’ is to help inspire a movement towards truly ‘people centred’ companies and building great leaders. Kevin describes himself as ‘hard wired to help people’.
Kevin has worked in senior HR leadership roles in a diverse range of organisations including high growth SMEs, large corporates, and the public sector. A CIPD qualified professional with over 20 years of experience building HR capability within business, Kevin thrives on the challenge of cultivating workplace cultures that live and breathe high performance.
Never forgetting the real reason we go to work every day, Kevin loves spending quality time with his wife Kelly, their three children and walking his chocolate Labrador dog Rolo.
Lisa’s passion is to champion better working lives and to inspire great leadership in business. A CIPD qualified professional and 14 years experience in learning and development, She has provided learning, coaching and assessment to different levels of leaders in the business skills sector. Lisa is now combining her L&D skills with a HR generalist role and is able to support businesses with their HR function as well as focusing on people engagement and development.
Lisa has the ability to adapt to different situations that is presented before her and is able to provide support in a range of different areas. She is good at supporting business leaders and their people alike, and inspiring them to collectively create people centered businesses.
Outside of Lisa’s passion she enjoys social events with family and friends, and spending quality time with her children and partner. Lisa also has a love of dark chocolate and hazlenut Ferro Roches!
Lyndsay is passionate about humanising workplaces and promoting people-centered cultures within organisations. She is proud to be a HR rebel; challenging the traditional views of HR and putting people before policies and procedures.
Lyndsay really enjoys connecting and building relationships with businesses and getting to know the people within them. She is determined to put the human back into HR.
A true people-person, Lyndsay enjoys socialising with friends and family and enjoys long country walks along the Moors with her puppy, Winston.
Kelly has worked with many organisations in different sectors over her career. In her most recent role of 6 years she has worked with a local council within its information governance team. Kelly has strong sense of fairness and always believes in doing the right thing which compliments her role at Apex. Although through Kelly’s knowledge and experience she will be leading on Apex’s Data Protection service, her innovative
and creative nature lends itself to wider Apex projects.
Kelly has a love for music and all things Disney which is especially evident to her
husband and children when she is screeching along to, I mean singing along
to, Disney songs.
Having worked in key administration and office management roles for over 22 years, Lianne is curious about the varied work undertaken by our Business, Lianne is excited to work at Apex because of their flexible working model and people centered culture. Lianne is an extremely motivated in her key role as administrator and is able to work consistently to high standards to meet the needs of her team and clients. Lianne’s excellent time management, organisational and communication skills with a solid background in administration and office management allows her team to do what they do best whilst she supports with business essentials and assisting with the relationships of clients.
Lianne has a supportive team ethic and personal integrity to maintain an effective working environment for herself and those around her with a kind and friendly approach and always happy to have a chat and help.
Outside of work Lianne enjoys spending time with her daughter, eating out, learning to crotchet and eating terry chocolate oranges !!
Rob’s Purpose is to help other people realise their potential through inspiring, supporting, challenging, coaching and encouraging – putting people at the heart of everything.
He describes himself as a catalyst to encourage, inspire others to change, develop, discover, fly.
Rob has worked in a wide range of organisations from the large commercial to the small engineering businesses as well as Public Sector, with over 30 years experience of helping develop High Performing Teams, challenging managers to become true leaders and a real passion for helping create a movement for culture change and new thinking.
The love of Rob’s life, Claire and their wonderful 2 boys, their wives and grandson are the centre of everything and the true reason Why.
Rob loves cycling, moorland walking and drone flying as a hobby.
Jo’s focus is to bring a positive approach to her coaching and consultancy work and she facilitates those she works with to develop their own understanding, awareness and insights. Jo, herself, has a highly professional approach with her own strong clear personal values, high personal integrity and an ethical approach to her work.
Jo is highly skilled at using a range of coaching methods and techniques and incorporates a coaching approach into all aspects of her HR consultancy work. Jo also brings her own strong belief and passion that everyone can achieve their very best when given the right opportunities and environment to the work she does with clients.
Jo is a highly experienced HR Consultant and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) as well as a qualified Executive Coach (ILM level 7), together with over 20 years of experience working with senior managers and leaders across the commercial, charity and public sectors. Her main area of expertise is working with leaders on leading and implementing improvement and change.
Over the years Bruce has worked with many Business owners and leadership/management teams to help them grow, position and market their businesses by developing and more importantly implementing the strategies to maximize increased revenues and profitability.
Bruce operates as an external and independent advisor/consultant/ NED on a retained project basis or in some cases taking on the role of a part time Marketing, Business Development, Commercial Director where the size of the organisation does not warrant a full time role but where the importance of an ongoing commercial business advisor, marketing and business development function is recognised.
Bruce loves his sport, especially rugby, and still has visions of playing for the Allblacks! In addition he is a fitness fanatic which he attributes to needing to run after his 4 young children!
