Its tough being in charge of a business and people, our fast evolving VUCA* world we live in moves ever faster.
There is a crisis of leadership throughout the world, we see it in governments and politicians, and across business we hear the stories about the Leaders people looked up to but lost their way and compromised their values.
One of the greatest responsibilities in life is the way we lead and support the people in our care. So many fail to provide effective inspirational leadership to their people and as a result things start to go wrong.
If you feel that you want to discover the true leader in you, discover the people in your business and what makes them tick, that starts by taking time out to learn and reflect on key aspects of what an excellent leader looks like.
We will tell you now that you cannot become a great leader by attending training courses. There is no quick fix to this process. But, going on a personal leadership journey and developing what you learn by trying things out in the workplace is how you develop and grow and ultimately become that great leader.
Our Leadership 2.0 Light the Fuse Programme which takes you on a 12-month journey is designed to help inspire, encourage, educate the new Leaders we need to make a real difference in business and the wider world.
It will be hard work and challenging at times but through a blend of Support and Challenge, Mentoring and Coaching you won’t be on your own.
We close the door on a maximum of 12 leaders per cohort. In the 12 months the Programme journey runs for there are 3 classroom facilitation days followed by coaching one to ones and Support and Challenge Team check-ins. When we talk about the importance of support and challenge, we really mean it.
There is a toolkit provided for you to try out approaches back in the work environment. Our emphasis is on taking positive action so that a real and meaningful difference is made to the lives of people in our organisations.
Towards the end of the journey is an opportunity to experience being in a global leading organisation that lives and demonstrates a People Centred Culture and you will meet people from the factory floor to the offices, reception staff and Directors to discover more about how things can be done differently. A new way of looking at leadership and the impact this can have. Leadership that engages and connects people and ultimately creates and delivers a highly successful and profitable business.
