It is the ‘Human’ in Human Resources which really matters.

“Never before have we needed HR to not be HR more than we do now”

At Apex HR, we fully agree with this statement by Jacob Morgan, author of the Employee Experience Advantage.

We believe HR can be a catalyst for powerful change but it needs to reinvent itself. We need to challenge the way we think about HR’s role in organisations and rethink tired and outdated approaches. It’s why we are rethinking HR in a big way in order to build better workplaces and more profitable organisations.

Some key areas HR can reinvent itself:

HR needs to move from a fixation on process, policy and procedure to a relentless focus on people, building adaptive performance and developing deep, meaningful relationships

HR needs to shift from a focus on compliance and internal policing of organisational rules to the development of cultures that genuinely care for people

HR needs to embrace technology without losing the human touch.

Without doubt, HR needs to put the humanity firmly back into Human Resources.
