Apex networking event October 2021

We hosted our very first networking event yesterday and what a brilliant morning we had.

It was great to see people in person after what has been a difficult time for many operating in a virtual world.

The team at Apex have certainly missed the human connection and really enjoyed the great conversations that came from yesterday’s event.  We recognise that networking for many can feel very daunting and feel completely out of comfort zones.

We want to create an environment where everyone is welcome to pop along and to engage as little or as much as they like.

One of yesterday’s speakers was Penny from the University of Plymouth, promoting local talented students.  There are many opportunities for local businesses to work in partnership with the university in specific funded projects.

If you were unable to attend our event but would like some further information on these opportunities, let us know and we will happily share Penny’s presentation.

Thanks to everyone involved in the day with special thanks to the Mount Batten Centre for providing the amazing seafront space to host the event.

If you have missed the event yesterday or think this is something you would like to be a part of keep an eye out, we will be hosting another event Spring 2022.
